| Bishamon has been around for
the last 13 years. The inside of the store is
a fusion of traditional Japanese and modern styles,
decorated with kawara eaves. During the lunch
hour, it is filled with the local businessmen,
but during the weekend it is filled with families.
The all-you-can-eat sushi that started 10 years
ago is very popular. The price of $21.95(lunch
time only)is a surprise, but even more amazing
than that is the fact that there are normal ippin
dishes included as well. The fish they buy from
the market is fresh everyday, and there are times
when the menu changes accordingly. You can see
that they really want the customers to eat only
good food. Another popular menu item is the omakase
(leave it up to the kitchen) starting at $40.

| You can also enjoy karaoke on
the upper level, which brings excitement to the
restaurant everyday. You can go alone, or go as
a group. (In that case there is a cover charge
of $5). |

| Bishamon recommends the Fire
Tiger. A shrimp tempura is wrapped, and then
topped with avocado and spicy tuna. It is aesthetically
pleasing too. The pieces are bite size, so it
is easy to eat even for ladies. Thinly sliced
cucumbers are included with the shrimp tempura
and crunches in your mouth. The golden combination
of the hot spicy tuna and the creamy avocado
easily slides down your throat. There is a mayonnaise
base sauce and a sweet and spicy soy sauce base
glaze drawn on the roll, and finishes it off
nicely. |

The steamed white
fish is topped with negi (green onion), and
hot olive oil is poured on it. The surface of
the fish and the negi instantly gives off a
nice fragrance. And then their specially made
sweet soy sauce glaze goes on top. The fish
meat is very plump and soft. Since there are
only basic ingredients on this dish?soy sauce
and olive oil?the fish needs to be good to make
it work.
The spicy tuna ceviche is a dish that has a
big lump of spicy tuna sitting on a half slice
of avocado. There is sauce that has mayonnaise
with a hint of wasabi and soy sauce on the plate.
The taste of the masago (smelt roe) is great
in your mouth. Dig in with your spoon and have
a bite!
