Teriyaki is grilled chicken, beef, or fish with teriyaki sauce. This sweet sauce is made from soy sauce and mirin (sweet rice wine). The meats are marinated or basted with the sauce and grilled until they have a nice glaze. The sauce can also be applied afterwards.
