At Jyokamachi, the traditional and modern are joined, and a distinctly Japanese atmosphere produces a special charm. Jyokamachi is fittingly located at the center of downtown Los Angeles. Six or seven years ago, most of their customers were Japanese tourists coming from nearby Little Tokyo. But time flows on, and in recent years many local American customers and visitors to the Los Angeles Convention Center have also become their patrons.

Since they opened ten years ago, they have always cooked with the freshest ingredients and have constantly searched for new culinary delights from Europe and Asia.
At Jyokamachi, providing superior customer service is always their greatest pleasure; you are welcome to request dishes that do not appear on our menu. From the owner’s comportment and the restaurant’s decor, you can easily feel the owner’s desire to please his customers. Many American patrons enjoy entering on foot and walking down the stone pathway that has the feeling of a traditional Japanese home; they are charmed to see the shoji, traditional screens, and tokonoma platforms.
To enjoy a fresh, high quality meal in a true Japanese atmosphere is a wonderful experience.
