They opened the restaurant
in 1994 at the corner of Zelzah Avenue and Ventura
Boulevard. At first there were not many customers,
but people soon learned that Makoto Sushi is always
“oiishi” – delicious! So the number
of customers grew. Now they are so busy “it
is difficult to keep up,” says owner chef
Makoto with a wry smile. Many customers including
men and women of all ages enjoy the restaurant until
1 A.M., which is closing time. |
